This edition of Santiago International Documentary Film Festival is taking place in four venues (Centro GAM, Sala Cine UC, Cineteca Nacional del Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda and Centro Arte Alameda). Fidocs is the main meeting place, means of dissemination, and competition for documentaries in Chile and was founded in 1997 by the prominent Chilean documentarist Patricio Guzmán (who has directed films such as La Batalla de Chile, Salvador Allende, Nostalgia de la Luz and El botón de Nácar).
AC/E is supporting the participation of Andrés Duque in the festival’s focus on his films and in the forums for public discussion held at all four venues. He will also be a jury member and speaker at the FIDOCS school for students of film schools in Chilean universities and colleges.
