FIDOCS 2018 Santiago International Documentary Festival

The 2018 Santiago International Documentary Festival (FIDOCS) is the main space for meetings, dissemination and competition in the documentary film genre in Chile, and is one of the most important in Latin-America, ever since it was founded in 1997 by the director Patricio Guzmán. This 22nd edition will be held at 6 sites (Hoyts Cinema, Cineteca Nacional, Sala Cine UC, GAM, UDP and Sala K).

AC/E is once again supporting the attendance of Spanish film-makers Alberto Gracia, Helena Girón, Samuel M. Delgado and Natalia Marín who are taking part in the showing of Spanish non-fiction films and meetings held with directors and the Chilean public:
Alberto Gracia - Participation in the International Competition "La Estrella Errante" (The Wandering Star) (premiere in Chile) and as a member of the panel of judges (in the Chilean competition) and a Masters Class speaker.
Helena Girón and Samuel M. Delgado - Exhibition of a mini-retrospective on their work and participation as speakers at the FIDOCS School Masters Class.
Natalia Marin - Presentation of her short film Julio Iglesia’s house in the Monsieur
Guillaume section and participation as a member of the Panel of Judges in the Latin-American First Cut Competition (WIP).
