FICIB 2015. VII Festival Internacional de Canción Itinerante de Bogotá

FICIB 2015. VII Festival Internacional de Canción Itinerante de Bogotá

FICIB is a point of reference for singers of Latin America. The international guests, both acclaimed and up-and-coming singers, who have taken part in all the editions make up an impressive sound map of the continent, with an emphasis on twenty-first-century songs. FICIB is committed to young artists and contemporary South American pop rooted in both rock and folklore.

The 2015 edition features singer-songwriters from various Spanish American countries and is aimed at a general audience particularly fond of songs. The Spaniard Alfredo González, one of the foremost contemporary singers from the Asturias region, is taking part in this edition in collaboration with AC/E with a concert entitled ‘Diez finales’, to mark his first ten years as a songwriter. In ‘Diez finales’, González will sing songs from his first four albums – La vida de alquiler’ (2004), ‘Dudas y precipicios’ (2008), ‘La nada y tu’ (2009) and ‘Dobleces’ (2012) –  in Spanish and the Asturian dialect, as well as from his latest album entitled ‘La paciencia del faquir’.
