FICG is a cultural event of great importance to Guadalajara and Mexico. It is a showcase for appreciating, disseminating, promoting and distributing Mexican and Ibero-American films. Its varied offering for the film industry has secured it a reputation both in Mexico and internationally. It is also a forum for training and creative exchanges between Ibero-American professionals, film critics and students.
During this 32nd edition, the festival’s guest of honour is Germany. The competition sections include Ibero-American prizes (feature film, documentary film and short film), the Maguez award and Doculab 9, among others.
AC/E is supporting the participation of creators from the Spanish film industry, who have been invited by the festival, to enable them to promote their latest work at this major international showcase event.
