Festival Torroella de Montgrí 2016

Festival Torroella de Montgrí 2016

The Torroella de Montgrí Music Festival started out in 1981 with a small number of concerts held in the medieval town centre. In 2015 were held a total of 713 concerts and an attendance of more than 395,000 spectators. Over the 34 years of the Festival have passed through its stage the best soloists, orchestras, ensembles of early music and choirs of the international music scene.

To mark the centenary of the death of Enrique Granados, Acción Cultural Española collaborates with the festival by supporting a special programme dedicated to the great Spanish composer.
