Fundación Romaeuropa, with the assistance of the AC/E mobility grants, is featuring Spanish choreographer Albert Quesada in the 30th edition of the Romaeuropa Festival (23 September – 8 December). The artist will present his latest work, Wagner & Ligeti, which explores how structures, repetitions and temporal interactions of orchestral music can embody and convey ideas.
Quesada’s work will be presented in the DNAworld section of the festival, which brings together young and up-and-coming Italian choreographers and colleagues from other European countries for a week (3 -7 November). The evening of 5 November is devoted to Spain and, as well as a performance of Quesada’s work, a debate with Spanish artists and institutions will take place.
Fundación Romaeuropa is one of the most prestigious Italian institutions engaged in the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art, theatre, dance and music. Prominent among its activities are the organisation of the Festival Romaeuropa, the Waiting for DNA project, and the various DNA
encounters.
