Festival de Máscaras 2017. ICBand

The Festival of Masks of the World is celebrated for the first time in the National Museum of the Mask of San Luis of Potosí. It aims to be an event where artisans and creators meet in a framework of African and Latin American music and rhythms. It celebrates a series of dances and concerts throughout the period of the festival, among the participants is the Spanish group ICBand (International Citrus Band), supported by AC/E's Mobility Grants. 

TRAVESÍAS SONORAS (Crossroads sounds)
It is a new creation and at the same time a review of classic authors of the Ibero-American musical tradition, which focuses on the search for ancestral connections of music from the East to Patagonia, tracing the cultural and spiritual journey of the Ibero-American people. Songs back and forth in physical and emotional geographies. Oceans and seas by which they have sailed and sail, dreams, hopes and chimeras from the River of the Silver to the shores of the Cantabrian, navigation of coasting to the Levant Peninsular, to cross the Mediterranean until arriving at the Kurdistán.
Participants: Beatriz Aguiar (Uruguay-Netherlands), Josean Martín / Fran Lasuen (Basque Country), Manuel Luna (Cantabria-Murcia), Gani Mirzo (Kurdistan) and essential backstage friends are ICBand (International Citrus Band). Small boat built to the nocturnal shade of lemon trees and orange trees of the Portuguese Alentejo.
