The Festival Les Voix Humaines has been established as an extension of the Festival Leo Brouwer, which consists of various genres and types of music, to draw attention to world peace, thought, human spirituality, ecology, freedom and human rights. It brings together leading voices in the world to call for respect, harmony and peace.
With the collaboration of Acción Cultural Española, singer-songwriter Mayte Martín is performing two concerts in Havana as part of the Festival Les Voix Humaines programme. One of the concerts, Por los muertos del cante, features flamenco music and the other, entitled Cosa de dos, is devoted to boleros.
