Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano 2015

Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano 2015

The international festival of new Latin American cinema recognises and disseminates films that contribute with their significance and artistic values to enriching and reaffirming the Latin American and Caribbean cultural identity.

Every year the festival organises the Fiction, Documentary and Animation, Operas Primas, Unproduced Scripts and Posters competitions. It also hosts meetings and seminars on various issues of cultural interest, especially related to films. The festival programme likewise features a wide-ranging and representative selection of contemporary cinema from the rest of the world.

It includes a selection of contemporary Spanish cinema in which nearly ten films are presented by their directors, actors and/or producers.

This year’s festival features four prominent Spanish directors, who are attending with the support of AC/E’s Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture.
