Guadalajara International Film Festival is a cultural event of great significance to the city and to Mexico. It is one of the most important showcases for the appreciation, dissemination, promotion and distribution of Mexican and Ibero-American cinema and features a major offering for the film industry, a fact which has secured it a place on the national and international scene. The festival is made by and for everyone, and aims for people to enjoy films while taking part in various parallel activities. It acts as a forum for training, teaching skills and holding creative exchanges between professionals, international film critics and students of Ibero-America.
AC/E is collaborating with this 30th edition through the PICE mobility programme by supporting the participation of Carlos Lopez del Rey, Raúl Arévalo Zorzo, Javier Gutierrez Álvarez, Borja Cobeaga Eguillor, Bárbara Lennie Holguín, Itziar Aizpuru, Gonzalo Suárez Morilla, Jon Garaño, Roberto Castón Alonso, Hermes Paralluelo, José Mari Goenaga, Francisco Sánchez Varela, Luis Bermejo Prieto, Miguel Gallardo, Asier Altuna, Alberto Rodríguez and José Sacristán Turiégano, who will take part in conferences and workshops as well as showing their latest work.
