Festival de Cine de Mujeres de Santiago (FEMCINE) 2015

Santiago Women’s Film Festival (FEMCINE) is a free event held annually in the municipalities of Providencia, San Joaquín, El Bosque and Maipú, in Santiago de Chile. For six days more than 50 national and international (chiefly Ibero-American) feature films are screened. FEMCINE’s mission is to disseminate and award prizes to films made by and about women, highlighting the work of female filmmakers both acclaimed and otherwise. Aware of the challenges faced by women in the audio-visual sector, it also includes a training cycle consisting of talks, masterclasses and workshops run by prominent professionals from the national and international audio-visual scene.

AC/E is collaborating with the festival through its mobility programme by supporting the participation of the filmmaker Lucía Andújar Llosa.
