Cielos del Infinito, which is held in the Magellan and Chilean Antarctica region, is the southernmost arts festival in the world and has grown rapidly throughout its six years of existence in terms of both the number of people who attend its events and workshops and the quantity and range of the art projects featured in its programme. It has also succeeded in forging significant international links on account of its particular model of collaborative work s and its fascinating location – Patagonia – which arouses the interest of people from different parts of the world.
During the two weeks it runs visitors have the chance to view the best stagings of the year all in the same area, which is internationally renowned for its legendary culture, nature settings, varied types of construction and the friendliness of its inhabitants. It encompasses stage, dance and music performances, design and visual arts, as well as talks on theory and specific workshops in different fields; these activities are free of charge for the whole community.
AC/E is collaborating with the festival by supporting the presence of the clown Leandre Ribera and his show No sé, which this Spanish actor, mime artist and clown pieces together through improvisation, laughter and emotion.
