Festival Salmón 2019

Festival Salmón 2019

The Salmon Festival, in this new edition/stage, is conceived as a celebration of the body as a place of learning and source of knowledge. Beyond disciplines and genres, beyond classrooms, theatres and museums, beyond styles, schools and history, live art is an experience, it is an opportunity to extend the limits of what we know.

Sâlmon Festival, organised by Centro de Creación del Graners and Mercats de las Flors, presents contemporary performances related to body language and the language of movement with a far-reaching programming philosophy that includes exhibitions, talks on art, training, involvement in the local context, artists’ residencies, thought creation and theoretic reflection among others. It is held in the last month of the year and runs for two weeks.

The support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) through its Programme for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) in the modality of Visitors makes it possible to support the travelling expenses of foreign curators and programmers.
