The Festival of European Film and Democratic Values (FESCIVAL) celebrates its second edition in Segovia from October 18 to 22. This event aims to promote a space for reflection on the values we share as a society, while promoting gems of European cinema that usually do not reach the general public in commercial theaters. In this edition, fundamental figures of Spanish cinema such as Fernando Méndez-Leite or Emilio Gutiérrez Caba and other relevant figures of European cinema participate, such as Paulina Stahlberg or the Czech director Tomas Hodan.
The screening of a total of 37 European films will be complemented by workshops, conferences and masterclasses, as well as exhibitions, concerts and other activities related to cinema and democratic values.
