The 29th Huesca International Theatre and Dance Fair includes a meeting of European dance platforms on 29 and 30 September. The following international cultural planners are taking part through Acción Cultural Española’s Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture:
Elianna Lilova (One Dance Week, Bulgaria), Claudio Marcelo Kogon (Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre in Tel Aviv, Israel), Anton Ovchinnikov (International Zelyonka Festival, Ukraine), Audronis Imbrasas (Lithuanian Dance Information Centre, Lithuania), Anikó Rácz (DunaPart, Hungary), Alexander Tevenkov (Pastforma Festival, Belarus), Snježana Abramović Milković (Dance and Non-Verbal Theatre Festival San Vincenti, Croatia) and Walter Heun (Jointadventures, Germany).
The event is aimed at strengthening collaboration between European dance platforms and broadening the international market for dance companies. It sets out to lend dynamism to the choreographic market and create a European cooperative network through a series of working meetings between European counterparts.
Huesca International Theatre and Dance Fair is a showcase for the performing arts in Spain and an event for international programmers. Its purpose is to give impetus to the market and distribution by focusing on broadening audiences and markets and by interconnecting international circuits.
