Feria del libro de Manizales 2019

Feria del libro de Manizales 2019

This year the 10th edition of the Festival is celebrated, with black literature as its central theme. AC/E takes care of the travel expenses, through the PICE mobility, of the Spanish writers invited to participate in "Conversations: How the blood drips. Hispanic-American literature and crime" Eugenio Fuentes and Susana Martín Gijón.
In this cycle of conversations, authors from Colombia and Latin America reflect on the topics of gender for the narrative in the Spanish language, as well as the different influences, the creation of detectives, settings and characters. Another central issue is the influence of the social reality of each of the countries in the narrative field.

The Manizales Book Fair is a project led and managed by the University of Caldas since 2010. This event has a great impact on the city and the region, strengthens a cultural sector such as the publishing industry and contributes to the public access to quality content thanks to the circulation of national and international authors and artists, promoting the consolidation of the culture of books and reading.
