Fantaspoa 2016 - International Fantastic Film Festival

Fantaspoa – International Fantastic Film Festival – is the biggest film festival devoted exclusively to fantastic films (fantasy, science fiction, horror and suspense) in Latin America. It is held every year in Porto Alegre.

This 12th edition will run from 13 to 29 May 2016, during which time more than 60 feature films and 45 shorts will be screened, most of them for the first time in Brazil. More than 40 Brazilian and foreign guests will take part in 40 public sessions on their films, among them the Spaniards Raúl García, Miguel Ángel Vivas, Antoni Solé, Ángel Agudo, Luis Soria de la Madrid and Luis Miguel Rosales, who enjoy the support of the AC/E Mobility grants.

Side activities will also be programmed, such as free training courses, music sessions, concerts and celebrations, among others. The screenings will take place in Cine Santander Cultural, Cine Bancários, Sindicato  Bancários and Capitolio Cinemateca.
