FAMFEST is a platform for the exhibition, circulation, and discussion around theater for children and young people. Currently it has become one of the festivals with the longest trajectory in Latin America. For two weeks in July it invites children to visit and enjoy to Chilean theaters. For this 11th edition of 2018, companies from Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands will participate.
This edition is celebrated under the slogan "A Festival of Stories" and it stages theater stories that captivate children with the magic of the various techniques of performing arts, in total some thirty plays and dance (national and international), 200 free functions, 25 workshops for children and the Family Scene Expo 2018 together with a fair for family theater programmers.
