In 2015 the Underground Spirit, with the support of AC/E 's Programme for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture, presents five Spanish directors who have found ways to produced their films thanks to the collaboration and cooperation among artists, with minimum budget and maximum creativity. The works by Miguel Llanso, Ion de Sosa, Luis Lopez Carrasco, César Velasco Broca and Chema García Ibarra are presented. After each screening, a Q&A with the director of the Festival Programmer Petar Mitric.
On July 19 Miguel the screening of Crumbs by Miguel Llanso; on July 20 Android's Dream by Ion de Sosa; on July 21 Attack of the Robots from Nebula-5 by Chema García Ibarra and Val del Omar fuera de sus casillas by César Velasco Broca. On July 18, the five directors receive their prize at the Open Air Summer Stage in front of numerous spectators and more than 200 representatives of local and international media.
Being the first international retrospective of the new generation of Spanish cinema, the festival has organized a panel discussion to analyze the origins and future, as well as new ways to create, produce, distribute and present films of this movement. The debate takes place at the Open University Subotica and has the assistance of international critics and representatives of leading film magazines. Also on July 19 is celebrated the Spanish Underground Party after the screening at the Cinema Abazija of Crumbs.
