The ‘Encuentros en la literatura’ literary meetings bring together Filipino and foreign writers, who address subjects related to the profession of writer and the work of the imagination. This programme sets out to understand other cultures and literary traditions and serve the local community through activities that contribute to the production of literary writing and the development of culture. It is organised by the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center (Universidad De La Salle) and the Instituto Cervantes of Manila with the support of the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture run by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E).
Following the success of last year’s activity with Juan Manuel de Prada, this year the centre has arranged the visit of two great Spanish authors: Luis Luisgé Martín and Marta Sanz.
