The Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander (Meeting of Music and Academy of Santander), which has the support of AC/E for this edition through the Visitors' programme, is an international festival that showcases emerging and teachers of the most prestigious institutions and academies of European music. Through daily lectures and holding concerts, experts can appreciate the qualities of the young participating musicians. This meeting is a key part of the EUROCLASSICAL project, which aims to provide both mobility and visibility to young musicians.
The festival is an excellent opportunity to create an international meeting scenario for Spanish musicians. During the festival are performed more than 50 concerts throughout Cantabria between symphony orchestras, chamber music and recitals.
