“How will we live together?” was the theme proposed in mid-2019 by the XVII Venice Architecture Biennale. After everything that happened as a result of the pandemic, it is impossible not to see a certain hint of premonition in the question raised by curator Hashim Sarkis and not least in the answers given by the participating teams at the Biennale.
The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of Spain, Acción Cultural Española and The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union organized this event, which includes eight Spanish teams that exhibited at the Biennale. Their work will be presented as brief manifestos in conjunction with an exemplary image that speaks to the many architectural implications posed by the question, “How will we live together?”
