The Edinburgh International Book Festival is the largest and most successful public celebration of the written word in the world.
It takes place annually in August and has a great reputation for its international programme which brings to Scotland a range of world class authors. The international strand of the programme is very popular and within it we provide a platform for Spanish authors each year.
In 2015, the Book Festival welcomed over 800 authors from 55 countries taking part in almost 800 events. The 2016 Book Festival follows a similar format. The Spanish authors in the International programme supported by AC/E are Agustín Fernández Mallo, Andrés Neuman, Milena Busquets y Guillermo Erades.
