Dublin Flamenco Festival 2014

Dublin Flamenco Festival is staged by the Peña Flamenca el Indalo, a not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin, whose purpose is to promote and enrich flamenco culture through education and entertainment, working very closely with institutions and artists in Spain and Ireland. AC/E is collaborating in this year’s event through the mobility programme of the PICE, which will facilitate the attendance of prestigious flamenco artists.

This year’s programme features María Isabel Bayón Gamero (dancer and choreographer), Jesús María Torres Alhama (guitarist), David Lagos Aguilar (singer), José Álvaro Carrasco Salazar (percussionist), José Luis López Fernández (flamenco violoncellist, composer and professor), Daniel Doña García (choreographer), Pablo Suárez García (piano), Juan Ramiro Obedman Alazraqui (musician in several styles of saxophone, flute and piano, and also composer, adapter and producer), Leonor Leal Chomorro (dancer), Juan Patricio Hidalgo Morán (painter) and José Luis Medina Pérez (guitarist). who will perform at the festival.
