The 66th edition of the San Sebastián International Film Festival will be held from 21st to 29th September with a spectacular selection of films that will be vying for the coveted Golden Shell. These include the latest pieces of work by authors in the international film industry, such as the French Director Claire Denis, the Japanese Director Naomi Kawase or the Korean Director Kim Jaewon.
The Festival will also be the venue for many film industry activities detailed on the Professional Agenda. San Sebastián will be the international meeting point for the film industry throughout the entire Festival, but more so on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th of September, coinciding with the "7th Europe - Latin America Co-production Forum", "Films in Progress 34" and "Glocal in Progress". Workshops, meetings, presentations and roundtables will be scheduled to encourage networking, cooperation and international circulation of films.
AC/E is supporting participation by professionals from other countries so that they can get the first-hand experience of today’s film industry in Spain, and to encourage the creation of international collaboration networks between these professionals and Spanish professionals.
