DocsBarcelona Valparaíso 2017

DocsBarcelona Valparaíso is the result of the successful work carried out for more than four years by 500 Nanómetros (NM) and DocsBarcelona in Chile. DocsBarcelona Valparaíso is based on the same model as the Barcelona festival and aims to become the Southern Cone’s platform for internationalising the Spanish and Latin American audiovisual sector. Valparáiso, which hosts the event, is a cultural capital and university city.

The festival is managed by 500 NM, which has organised the well-known SurDocs festival for 12 years. This second edition intends to present a laboratory for interactive documentaries and a laboratory for developing projects, as well as featuring performances for schoolchildren and an international competition.

AC/E is supporting the participation of Spanish film professionals to promote, internasionalize and facilitate the exchange between Latin America and Spanish film industry.
