Distinguished Anyways 2021

"Distinghised Anyways 2021" is a performative project by La Ribot and his team. The exhibition project is developed from La Ribot's proposal for the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2022. Like that proposal, the current one for the Spanish Academy in Rome proposes to occupy the space of the temple of San Pietro in Montorio, erected around 1502 - 1510 by the Cinquecentista architect Bramante in one of the courtyards of what was then the Franciscan convent of the same name.

La Ribot stands out in contemporary arts for her research in the living arts and the multiple relationships that are established between them, music, dance, theater or performance, among others. His knowledge of dance and choreography has been merging into a compact whole with the visual, film and action art, in such a way that his artistic practice has focused on establishing links and inventing dialogues between disciplines and artists. , including diversity, precariousness and the ephemeral.
