dFERIA is an unavoidable event for the Performing Arts sector. It began its journey in 1988 and today it has become a clear reference for performing arts professionals throughout Spain and continues to strengthen its ties with the Latin American and European market. Consolidated cultural event as one of the most important theatrical events, takes years at the head of fairs throughout the State. The San Sebastian Fair has distinguished itself by its quality in programming.
Following the formula agreed at the time with the most representative institutions, companies and associations in the sector, it programs between 20 and 30 shows in each edition.
The Fair supposes an extraordinary platform of encounter between different agents of the sector, in which multiple possibilities of exchange of experiences and artistic hiring are promoted. The Donostia Fair generates, directly and indirectly, a significant volume of business, establishing itself in a market with a quality label.
dFERIA brings together about 150 actors / actresses for this edition working on the different scheduled shows, as well as about 400 professionals, of which 200 are programmers. Among them, the presence of an important representation of the programmers of the main theaters in Spain, as well as international programmers, both European and Latin American, stands out.
