During this festival edition (23rd edition), AC/E supports the participation of Cia Maduixa that returns to the festival to perform 5 shows of ‘Mulïer’ in the Deventer Schouwburg; Delrevés, a vertical dance company, with 7 shows from July 5-7; La Baldufa Teatre with 7 shows from July 5-7 on the central square of the festival, called the Brink; and Claire Ducreux with 5 shows from July 5-7. She performs a solo show with dance, mime and physical theater.
The international outdoor festival 'Deventer Op Stelten' is one of the largest festivals for outdoor theatre in the Netherlands. The programme consists of 150 national and international performances in the historic city of Deventer and surroundings: from spectacular scale to small experiences. The festival engages a large and wide audience for high quality arts for free (2018: 125,000 visitors) and has a solid position in the cultural, social and economic infrastructure of the city and its region.
