Danse N’Obras is an event devoted to disseminating contemporary dance and promotes reflection on the discipline itself and its relationship with others such as video, performance, installation, music, theatre, architecture, town planning and literature. It is a space that gives visibility to the work of emerging or independent companies, both national and international, that are dedicated to creation and research into new trends in dance and the contemporary performing arts. It offers artists and audiences the chance to meet and talk in a non-conventional stage space that is conducive to the emergence of new visions and artistic realities.
This AC/E’s Mobility grants have enabled the company of Dani Panullo Dancetheatre Co to take part in a Danse N’Obras residency to carry out research into movement through new urban dance codes, exchanging impressions with local dancers. The project includes teaching workshops on the various disciplines in which its members are specialised to professional dancers and local audiences interested in expanding their corporal knowledge and exploring other forms of movement: B-boying, football freestyle, power moves, and locking & popping.
