Dance and diaspora. Spanish creators in the world

The María Pagés de Fuenlabrada Choreographic Center (CCMG) organizes with the collaboration of Acción Cultura Española this program that, under the title Dance and Diaspora, Spanish creators in the world, aims to promote the presence of Spanish creators who work outside Spain and create an international community that helps to publicize the Spanish choreographic work in the world, while strengthening dance as a space for recognition and reflection.

The project is structured in a format of six virtual meetings with Spanish creators who have developed their professional careers outside of Spain. The meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the months of September to December 2021:

Rafael Onachela. Choreographer and Artistic Director of the Sydney Dance Company.
Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Sol Leon. Associate dancer and choreographer of the Nederlands Dans Theater.
Thursday October 7, 2021.
Goyo Montero. Choreographer and Artistic Director of the Nuremberg Ballet.
Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Angel Corella. Dancer and Artistic Director of the Pennsylvania Ballet.
Thursday, November 25, 2021.
Nazareth Baker. Dancer from the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.
Thursday, December 9, 2021.
Ana Laguna. Dancer and choreographer of the Cullberg Ballet.
