The Culture Forum is a meeting point for experts on different discipline to reflect on the challenges that the 21st Century society faces. Throughout its three editions, held in Burgos, the Culture Forum has brought together 175 speakers from 15 different countries, that have attracted more than 30,000 spectators to their panel discussions and dialogues.
This year's appointment proposes an extension in Paris, to show the relationship among Spanish and French intellectuals, under the motto The Borders of Thought. The programme is organized around panels of discussion, focusing on innovation and transformation in the digital era in cultural industries, as well as dialogues around issues such as citizen participation or the concept of identity in the era of globalization. The programme also includes workshops and meetings between cultural creators and production spaces in both countries.
The main stage of the programme is the Le Centquatre-Paris, an artistic center belonging to the city hall of the French capital. It is a place of creation and production unique in the world that, with its 39,000 m2, offers a new look at contemporary arts.
