CONEXIONES is a project led by the Ibero-American Dance Platform / PID, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and supported by the Iberescena Program and Spanish Cultural Action. Its objective is to open a dialogue between the agents responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies for dance, as well as with the agents of the sector, managers of initiatives that have had a positive impact on dance and its processes. A program, therefore, for the construction of sectoral agendas that can be translated into shared commitments and concrete actions, which address the need for effective and innovative responses required by the difficult situation the sector is going through, contributing to its reactivation.
The virtual program has 3 thematic axes:
Knowledge management, with a focus on the identification, characterization and value of the sector (diagnoses, evaluations, indicators), as well as on the modes of distribution of the information generated from these studies.
Public policies for the sector, with a focus on the problem of job insecurity and formalization of work, and the advancement of legal frameworks regarding the labor rights of artists and related trades in response to this problem.
Productive development of the sector, with a focus on possible economic models and ecosystems for the plurality of the field, the current context, its promotion policies and the desirable impacts.
