Concéntrico, Logroño’s architecture and design festival, is open to everyone and invites visitors to discover interesting places in the city’s historic district. It encourages people to explore these places through installations created by architects and designers, who establish a connection between inner courtyards, hidden spaces and small plazas that usually go unnoticed in the city in daily life.
In 2016, as a new feature, an exchange agreement has been established with the Festival des Architectures Vives (FAV) whereby the latter’s organiser Marion Moustey will attend in order to learn about the festival and the architects and designers and take part in the side events.
The architect, curator and architecture critic Gonzalo Herrero Delicado from London’s Design Museum is also taking part. He will present the programme Diálogos, which is designed to promote citizens’ knowledge and reflection on the city’s heritage and the contemporary architecture installed during the festival.
They both enjoy AC/E’s support through the Visitor grants.
