Comic residency in Angoulême 2026

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and the Cité internationale de la bande dessinée et de l'image (Angoulême) are launching a creative residency for a Spanish comic book author.

The residency will be held at La Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, France, for six months, between January and June 2026.

To this end, it facilitates the implementation of a project selected for its artistic value and innovative nature in this field. It also aims to facilitate the creation of collaborative networks, promote the mobility of Spanish creators abroad, foster creative production by offering residencies for creators, and strengthen ties between cultural institutions in France and Spain.
