Ciudad Mínima 2015. IV Festival de Microrrelatos

Ciudad Mínima is a literary festival designed to create spaces where various audiences from the city of Guayaquil can come into contact with micro-fiction. Its activities fall into three main groups – dissemination of authors, active participation of the community and links with various artistic and cultural expressions – and include talks, workshops, screenings of short films and literary competitions focused on micro-storytelling.

The 4th festival presents two foreign authors of micro-stories: Argentine Raúl Brasca, one of the pioneers of the genre in Spanish America, and Spanish female writer Patricia Esteban, author of the book Casa de muñecas, who is travelling to Guayaquil with the support of AC/E’s internationalisation programme. The festival includes talks on their work, a meeting with schoolchildren and an exhibition of the work of Spanish female artist Sara Morante featuring illustrations made for Patricia Esteban’s book.
