CIMA 2025 Professional Conferences: Towards an Equal Audiovisual Industry

The CIMA 2025 Professional Conference: For an Equal Audiovisual Industry will take place on April 24 and 25 at Cineteca de Matadero, Madrid. Its objective is to address violence and abuse of power in the audiovisual sector, as well as promote narratives with a gender perspective.

AC/E is collaborating in this edition on the AC/E Award for Best Screenplay. This award aims to:

Recognize female talent in scriptwriting.
It is aimed at screenwriters with innovative stories and a gender perspective.
The selection is made by a professional jury during the conference.
Proposals that challenge stereotypes and promote diversity are prioritized.

The ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN FILMMAKERS AND AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA (CIMA) is an organization that brings together more than 1,300 professionals from the audiovisual media united by a common goal: to promote an equal presence of female filmmakers and audiovisual professionals, contributing to a balanced and realistic representation of women in the content offered by our media.
