Teorética is a private not-for-profit foundation for contemporary art, a platform for the consolidation of artistic and curatorial practices through an international programme of seminars, exhibitions, publications and residencies. In order to provide incentives to these creative processes, it is presenting the project Bifurcaciones en el museo; prácticas actuales de memoria en el arte (Bifurcations in music: current memory practices in art) consisting of a series of seminars with international guests that are designed to raise questions about collecting, the history of exhibitions and ways of constructing memory in relations between art and society.
AC/E is collaborating in this initiative by supporting the participation of Pablo Lafuente, curator of the Sao Paulo Biennale and editor in chief of Afterall magazine.
