Belén Uriel. Culturgest Lisbon

The exhibition of Belén Uriel (Madrid, 1974) at Culturgest, in Lisbon, is a comprehensive presentation of her work until now, revisiting her artistic practice over the last few years. Curated by Miguel Wandschneider, and taking place at Culturgest’s main gallery space (occupying 500 m2), the exhibition combines works that have already been shown in other circumstances with many recent and previously unexhibited pieces. The show will present a series of sculptures in metal, papier-maché and fired glass, along with photo-collage works - a total of circa 50 individual pieces.
