ARCOmadrid 2017. Madrid International Contemporary Art Fair

ARCOmadrid is one of the most consolidated contemporary art fairs on the international scene with the participation of several countries from all continents.
The work selected for this 36th edition includes the historical avant-gardes, the contemporary classics and the current art. A total of 200 galleries from 27 countries exhibiting painting, sculpture, installations, photography, video, new media, drawing and engraving.
The country invited in this edition is Argentina and the fair will feature 12 Argentine galleries selected by Inés Katzenstein, director-founder of the Art Department of the Torcuato Di Tella University, Buenos Aires.

Acción Cultural Española, AC/E collaborates in the professional meetings that are consolidated as a point of exchange for curators and art experts from all over the world. Reserved only for professionals and under invitation, these discussion platforms provide the opportunity to share reflections, exchange experiences and project new proposals. The program includes the Museums Work Session as well as the VI Meeting of Museums of Europe and Latin America, co-organized by AECID and directed by João Fernandes. There will also be the meetings led by Juan Canela, Chris Sharp, Stefanie Hessler, Catalina Lozano and Miguel Amado that allows the participation of a young curators.
