“A JOURNEY TO THE INNER SPAIN. THE DEMOGRAPHIC QUESTION: MEMORY AND OBLIVION. ”
ALMA TIERRA is the result of a photographic journey that has led José Manuel Navia to explore several territories especially significant to show the demographic crisis in the inland Spain.
The project is an Acción Cultural Española production that takes the form of an itinerant photography exhibition and a co-edited book with Ediciones Anómalas, with texts by Julio Llamazares. A lyrical and visual tour of that “dying world”, as Miguel Delibes called it, an inland Spain that, although hit hardly, resists to disappear completely.
