Prizewinning Spanish author Félix J. Palma is touring Australia to present his work at Perth Writers Festival, La Trobe University in Melbourne and Adelaide Writers’ Week.

La Trobe University, through its Spanish Program directed by Lilit Thwaites, has a long history of collaboration with Spanish writers who have presented their work at various forums and festivals in Australia.
Adelaide Writer’s Week is hailed internationally as one of the most important literary festivals. Its six-day programme features public readings, talks and debates related to writers and figures from the publishing industry. It attracts nearly 100,000 people every day. In the past two years, Adelaide Writers’ Week has presented Spanish authors of an extremely high standard, making Spanish writing an important part of the festival’s curatorial approach. This year the guest writer is Félix J. Palma, who is acclaimed by critics as one of the most brilliant and original storytellers of our time and has won more than 100 prizes for his short stories.
