Maremagnum, Jordi Socías

Maremagnum is a journey through Spain's recent history via the lens of one of the leading lights of contemporary Spanish photojournalism. The show is a major retrospective of photographs featuring snapshots of the Spanish transition, images of unreal situations and everyday cityscapes. The central corpus, though, is unquestionably a gallery of portraits reflecting a personal view of key figures in the understanding of the Spanish and European culture of the last four decades.
