The documentary is an audiovisual tribute to Juan Carlos Onetti which recreates part of the legacy of the Uruguayan writer with accounts from his widow, Dolly Onetti, writers Eduardo Galeano and Antonio Muñoz Molina, journalists Juan Cruz and María Esther Gilio, and the Director of the National Library of Uruguay, Tomás de Mattos, along with drawings by the Uruguayan artist Tunda Prada and original music by Fernando Cabrera, with a special contribution by Jorge Drexler.
