Female identity at the IVAM

The exhibition brings together 51 works by 42 national and international female artists of the 20th and 21st centuries belonging to the IVAM's collection, whose works are born out of an affirmation of their identity.

The show presents incisive art within a social context from different positions, visions and creations, featuring artists such as: Anni Albers, Diane Arbus, Ida Barbarigo, Carmen Calvo, Mónica Capucho, Elena del Rivero, Sonia Delaunay, Juana Francés, Katharina Fritsch, Chus Gracia Fraile, Cristina García Rodero, Jacinta Gil, Susy Gomez, Roberta González, Natuka Honrubia, Cristina Iglesias, Linda Karshan, Germaine Krull, Carmen Laffon, Eva Lootz, Ariane Lopez-Huici, Cristina Lucas, Angeles Marco, Blanca Muñoz, Natividad Navalón, Aurélie Nemours, Ouka Leele, Vanesa Pastor, Ana Peters, Esther Pizarro, Ana Sério, Soledad Sevilla, Cindy Sherman, Laurie Simmons, Susana Solano, Mar Solís, Grete Stern and Sue Williams.
