The exhibition aims to contextualise the leading role of women in the construction of Latin America through graphic materials, photojournalism and images presenting a social chronicle of the creation of the American republics which are now celebrating two hundred years since their constitution as nation-states.
The exhibition project is based on graphical materials from EFE Agency and other archives specialising in Latin America, along with interactive elements, and is divided into two major sections: an exhibition intended to present on a public platform images of figures from throughout Latin America who have played a significant role in the last 200 years and have contributed to creating what is today "The Americas", and another located in an inner space intended to celebrate the bicentenary by reflecting on the role of women in the importance of economic, social and cultural rights in the construction of the modern states of Latin America.
