Organised by LAVAC, Abierto Valencia is the cultural event that marks the start of the new season of exhibitions for the contemporary art galleries of the Valencia region. The activities scheduled throughout the weekend of 28 to 30 September are designed to promote culture and bring contemporary art closer to citizens. It also runs a professional programme for national and international cultural agents that is backed by AC/E through the Mobility grants and is designed to familiarise them with the work of the Spanish galleries and artists, and to encourage them to establish relations with foreign organisations in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and exhibitions.
