The Spanish Film Library hosts the Film Series and Colloquiums organized by Acción Cultural Española on the 10th anniversary of the Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE), which will take place in 2023. It will be ten years since AC/E launched one of the backbones of its activity, the Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE), whose purpose is to reflect around the world the contemporaneity, creativity and plurality of current Spanish culture in the fields of literature, cinema, music, visual or performing arts, architecture or design.
On the occasion of the ten years of the Program, and thanks to the close collaboration that the ICAA has had with AC/E in the development and improvements of the PICE, both institutions have designed the celebration of a Cycle of films and colloquiums, in December 2022, at Cine Doré, where three of the Spanish films made by women most in demand by international film festivals (PICE Mobility) in this decade and which have had the support of the program mentioned above are screened. All the films have garnered awards nationally and internationally.

The PICE aims for Spanish creators to have a stable and continuous presence in international creation spaces and consolidation of their participation in festivals and cultural events around the world. The PICE was born with the vocation of generating a strategy for the internationalization of Spanish culture in the medium and long term. It is an example of excellence and a case of success in public cultural policy, having cemented a stable mobility mechanism for Spanish performers and creators. . The Program is strategically designed by and for the sector, its precise selection mechanism being especially innovative because it is foreign programmers who select Spanish creators. In this way, feedback and exchange are generated, as well as a true grassroots interest that guarantees the continuity of the presence of Spanish artists in the international showcase.
