Writer Andrés Barba is taking part in the 9th Congress of Hispanists of Asia, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 22 to 24 January. This triennial event, which this time is being organised by the University of Chulalongkorn, is attended by more than 200 Spanish-language specialists from all over the world, who debate on four areas of the Spanish language: literature, translation, linguistics and the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
As part of its endeavour to promote knowledge of the new generations of Spanish writers and the translation of their work into the Asian languages, AC/E is supporting the participation of writer Andrés Barba, who will give a talk on childhood and the teenage years as literary themes, and on gender and transgression in formative literature.
