From 20 to 28 September, the San Sebastian International Film Festival shows a spectacular selection of films that will be vying for the coveted Golden Shell. These include the latest pieces of work by authors in the international film industry. Among the Spanish films in competition: "La trinchera infinita", by Jon Garaño, Aitor Arregi and Jose Mari Goenaga, the creators of Handia and Loreak; "Mientras dure la guerra", by Alejandro Amenábar; and "La hija de un ladrón", by debutant Belén Funes.
In New Directors Lucía Alemany will compete with "La inocencia" and Maider Fernández Iriarte, with "Las letras de Jordi". In the section Tabakalera will participate the series "El fiscal"; the half-length film "Urpean Lurra", by Maddi Barber; and the short films "Leyenda dorada", by Ion de Sosa and Chema García Ibarra, and "Escenas de vida", by Izbene Oñederra.
In the Pearls section the film "O que arde", And finally, in the Velodrome, the series of Leticia Dolera "Vida perfecta", and the animated film "La gallina Turuleca", by Víctor Monigote and Eduardo Gondell, are projected in full.
During the Festival there are numerous industry activities detailed in the Professional Agenda. AC / E supports the participation of professionals from other countries in the sector so that they know first-hand the news of current Spanish cinema and with the aim of creating international collaborative networks between them and Spanish professionals.
